Max, 10 month old, Jack Russel mix went through our 4 week off leash training camp. When Max arrived to Balanced K9 he had severe separation anxiety leaving his owners feeling guilty to leave their home to even go to work. Neighbors would report that he would scream all hours of the day until he was returned to. On top of this issue Max also had a growing fear of anyone that wasn’t his immediate family causing all of their walks around their home to be loud and embarrassing as he continued to bark at everyone he saw or came close. This behavior slowly turned into biting people’s legs if they came too close or entered his home. Lastly, if their issues weren’t enough Max began to lift his leg and pee in certain areas of the house. After 4 short weeks in training and a few lessons at home later Max’s reports from his behavior at home were raving! Max is now over a month in with no accidents in the house, is quiet and calm during the day while his family s away and they are enjoying their morning and evening walks around the park introducing Max to all of their neighbors and friends for the first time. Once Max got over a few of his fears we were able to see the extremely fun and social dog that he was! We feel honored to have trained and spent time with Max and his family and cant wait to hear more great rports down the road!
